Emmy’s Hope Hoss’s

As we spread the message of ” We Need Community Immunity”, we began holding fundraisers in our community to raise awareness and funds to pay for doses of Measles vaccine through the unbrella group of the American Red Cross Measles Initiative Program. Our first fundraiser was at Hoss’s Seafood and Steakhouse in Hanover, Pa. Those people who came to Hoss’s that day with our Emmy’s Hope Cash Cow passes from Hoss’s enjoyed wonderful food, GREAT company and a lot of information. Our day was spent talking about Emmalee, Subacute Sclerosing Pan Encephalitis and the need for a timely measles vaccine. Many people didn’t realize that some people fly off to countries with high rates of the measles without benefit of a measles vaccine before they leave. Hoss’s was great to us! As you walked in, you saw the Emmy’s Hope name over the entrance. We made almost $80.00. That’s 80 doses of vaccine!
